Wedding Marriage License Information - Washington |
Click on a state below to view general information about how to obtain a marriage license in your area. Please keep in mind that each state sets their own marriage license regulations, and in some states, certain marriage license requirements are set by each city or town. OurDreamWedding will keep this information updated as often as possible, though we also recommend that you call your County/Town Clerk for more detailed information and to get specifics on exact requirements in your area. When calling your County/Town Clerk's office, remember to ask about the license fee and identification requirements. OurDreamWedding does not list the fees for licenses in each state. |
Washington marriage license requirements:
In the state of Washington, men and women are required to be at least 18 years of age in order to obtain a marriage license without parental consent. With consent, young men and women may be granted a license at age 17. No blood tests, witnesses or birth certificates are required before obtaining a marriage license in Washington. There is however a 3-day waiting period. Check with your county for more information and to inquire about the current license fee.
